Anyone who knows our kids also knows they never stand this close to each other intentionally!

Still, they called a truce long enough for this photo to be taken, so I have to give them credit for that!

The red shoes

As Valentine's Day approached, I thought it was only fitting that I have a new pair of red shoes. Why should Dorothy have all the fun?!

Since they arrived by mail just today, I haven't had a chance to wear them yet ... but one day soon I'll click my heels three times and see where they take me!

Vaulting through January

Michaela's second gymnastics meet was Sunday. Once again, the vault was her best event. She placed seventh overall, moving up one slot from the last meet. :) At right: Michaela and Coach Emily.

And just like Michaela, January was simply a blur!!! This past week has been filled with challenges at every turn, so I'm kind of happy that it's all behind us now. I'm ready for a fresh start and a new month.

And today, we'll find out if I'm having a granddaughter or a grandson in June!!!
